What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst, Four Stars Finance position at D&M Auto Leasing?
Four Stars Finance (A D&M Leasing Company) is looking to bring on a Business Analyst who will perform analysis on complex data files, identify opportunities, and work with management and staff to identify, define, implement, and monitor reporting and solutions as needed. Partner with team colleagues on process improvements, compile and complete daily/weekly/monthly reports, ensure proper distribution to appropriate recipients, identify reporting gaps, and offer solutions.
Responsibilities include
- Provide Data Analysis: Performing statistical analysis to identify trends and generate insights.
- Provide Data Visualization: Creating dashboards and visualizations to present complex data clearly.
- Provide Reporting and Communication: Developing reports and providing actionable recommendations based on data.
- Provide Data Gathering and Cleaning: Extracting data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy for analysis.
- Provide Consumer Department Performance Reporting
- Residual Value Analysis and Maintenance
- Refine department performance reports, accuracy audits, and other reporting tools.
- Consumer Monthly Audits and Enrollments
- Support Integration with third party systems and tools
- Model Development: Support building predictive models to forecast trends and outcomes.
- Support Project Management for Four Stars Finance and Corporate Initiatives
- Contact sheet updates
- Meeting management and presentations (Quarterly All-Hands as an example)
- Assist in Four Stars Finance Employee onboarding
- Support Lender relationship initiatives (coordinating meetings and events)
- Maintain lender rate sheets and ensuring they are loaded into various systems
- Provide Overflow support on a periodic basis during high volume seasonal times, such as Commercial and Consumer Repos, Commercial Gap, and Commercial Enrollments & Reporting
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than 5 years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:
-Demonstrated strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
-Must be able to work independently, and to take initiative and ownership of responsibilities and act with sense of urgency to deliver accurate and meaningful reporting data.
-Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to think outside the box and offer solutions to complex reporting requirements.
- Ability to learn and understand complex concepts, respond quickly to critical business needs, prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting demanding deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of Loan/Lease originations and servicing systems is preferred
- Issue Management experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge/experience with basic SQL coding would be a plus but is not required.
