This position will work remotely, ideally in MN, WI, TX or AZ.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share, achieve revenue growth, and manage full-cycle sales, estimating, and occasional project management duties.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time to meet with clients, conduct construction site visits, and develop relationships and business opportunities, primarily within regional and national territories.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals.
- Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and overhead to support competitive bidding and project planning by collaborating with internal teams.
- Analyze project plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and create detailed proposals to ensure all costs are accounted for and client requirements are fully understood.
- Ensure timely follow-up and documentation of client meetings and business development activities.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals and contributing to the company's overall profitability will be your benchmarks for success and what motivates you!
- A degree in Architectural Drafting, Construction Management, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, estimating, project management, or a related field, preferably within the commercial and multifamily construction industry, with window and door experience being a plus.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining strong professional relationships, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, and managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong sales acumen and experience in driving the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel approximately 50% of the time regionally and nationally.
- Highly self-motivated, able to work independently, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam software, and quoting and pricing software.
- Base Commission 70,000-90,000 per year
