D.P. Nicoli is currently in need of an Assistant Operations Manager in our South San Francisco, CA location. In this position, each work day is never the same; it is challenging, rewarding and requires top notch multi-tasking and the ability to keep your cool when the going gets tough.
We are looking for someone who is innately a "take the ball and run with it" person, with an ability to adjust priorities in an instant because you're able to keep a Big Picture understanding of what needs to get done. This job is a hybrid between office, paperwork and yard operations. It can be physically demanding and will require daily responsibilities of general yard tasks, forklift operation, heavy lifting and equipment maintenance and assembly. This is a great stepping stone position to grow within the company. This could put you on a track to inside/ outside sales or other operations management opportunities.
You should have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, while being professional and with a sense of urgency. You'll be both customer AND employee facing, so balancing the two requires a special mindset.............does this describe you?
This job is integral to DP Nicoli's success. Your efficiency ensures our equipment gets to our customers in a timely manner and that they are satisfied. It doesn't get more important than that.
Some of your daily responsibilities to make this happen include:
· Heavy customer contact, ensuring all orders are entered in computer system
· Tracking and following up to secure pending orders
- Entering orders, dropping paperwork, routing drivers, communicating with customers for ETA of equipment
· Comprehensive, detailed inventory management
· Efficient processing of all transactions
· Management of yard/ driver personnel
- Heavy lifting- equipment maintenance and assembly
- Forklift loading and offloading equipment
- Cleaning and testing equipment
- General Yard Skills
- Property management- keeping third party landscapers, cleaners, etc accountable

$72-85k per year
Qualifications
- College Degree or comparable experience required
- Extra points for experience in operations management or dispatch
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Steady work history
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid mathematical aptitude
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Salary : $72,000 - $85,000
