LEGAL & ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Concord, MA based law office seeks skilled Legal & Office Administrative Assistant for Part Time Position.
DESCRIPTION-JOB DUTIES
- Manage all correspondence and filing, maintain, keep all files current.
- Perform legal research
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- Organize and maintain legal files
- Schedule appointments and manage attorney calendar.
- Perform prospective client and client intakes with professionalism. -Perform Office Financial Admin. Duties incl. payables, billings, internal bookkeeping.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient w/ Word, Excel, Office 365
- Proven experience working in a law office performing related legal and financial administrative tasks.
- Proficient in performing legal research, creating draft versions of pleadings, notices, executing filings.
- Proficient in office financial management including preparation of attorney billings, office payables, bookkeeping.
- Paralegal certification or relevant degree is preferred. Willingness to take paralegal related academic courses paid for by employer.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
