Job purpose
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising the warehouse operations in a manner that provides maximum accuracy, efficiency, profitability for trouble-free equipment to customers and maintains a safe working environment for employees.
Only candidates with manufacturing warehouses experiencewill be considered for this position.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily administration and operation of the warehouse
- Take the lead in receiving and recording new stock as it comes in. Create appropriate transactions in the ERP system.
- Manage the inflow and outflow of products and maintain location accuracy in the ERP system
- Maintain and order warehouse packaging and supplies as needed.
- Ensure clean and tidy warehouse area.
- Oversee, organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure the efficient usage of warehouse space
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in picking, packing and shipping customer orders
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and unobstructed work area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse
- Forklift certification/license
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Close attention to detail
- Familiarity with a variety of warehousing and logistics concepts, practices and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Punctual with a high attendance rate
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Current forklift driver certification preferred
- Able to provide 3 professional references

Working conditions
All work is performed in a professional manufacturing environment with frequent use of material handling equipment and walking through manufacturing and office spaces.
Physical requirements
- Lifting and carrying: The ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds is necessary for this position. Warehouse Associates may be required to move heavy boxes, equipment, or inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Standing and walking: This role involves extended periods of standing and walking within the warehouse facility. Candidates must have the physical endurance to remain on their feet for extended periods while performing their duties.
- Manual dexterity: Have good manual dexterity to handle and manipulate small items, operate warehouse equipment, and perform tasks that require precise movements.
- Bending, stooping, and reaching: The ability to bend, stoop, and reach for items on lower and higher shelves is crucial. Warehouse Associates may need to access inventory stored at different heights within the warehouse.
- Physical agility: This role may involve navigating narrow aisles, climbing ladders, and maneuvering in confined spaces. Physical agility and coordination are necessary to perform these tasks safely and efficiently.
