We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Front Desk Associate to be the first point of contact for our members and guests.

Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Associate at D1 Training, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging experience for all members and visitors. Your role is vital to ensuring smooth daily operations, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining an organized and professional environment. You will answer customer inquiries, check in members, maintain facility cleanliness, and assist with various operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Front Desk Operations:

  • Greet every member and visitor warmly, addressing them by name.
  • Stand at the entry spot (iPad kiosk) 10 minutes before each workout to assist with check-ins and verify client status.
  • Answer all phone calls, handle customer service inquiries, and take messages for recruiters and management.
  • Ensure that all members check into workouts and attendance records are accurate.
  • Check voicemail messages, respond accordingly, or forward to the appropriate staff member.
  • Greet free trial guests, verify waiver/profile status, and introduce them to the appropriate recruiter/coach.

Facility & Housekeeping Responsibilities:

  • Complete the Opening and Closing Checklists when opening or closing the facility.
  • Ensure bathrooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
  • Ensure facility cleaning supplies are stocked and available.
  • Keep the workout area tidy, vacuum the weight room, and remove any trash, personal belongings, or coach materials.
  • Stock the fridge and snack shelves with food and drinks.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked gear display.
  • Follow opening/closing procedures, including checking lights, locks, and TVs.

Sales & Social Media Responsibilities:

  • Process ancillary purchases (merchandise, snacks, drinks) in MINDBODY.
  • Monitor and respond to social media inquiries using provided scripts.
  • Gather content for social media and assist with daily social media tasks.
  • Answer incoming calls following the Telephone Inquiry Script to provide information and set appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • High-energy, positive attitude, and ability to engage with members consistently.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to stay focused and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Previous customer service or front desk experience is preferred.
