Austin Area Earthwork Superintendent

Qualifications

  • 2 yrs earthwork experience
  • Strong knowledge of interpreting Geotech reports, plans, and specifications
  • Organized, good work ethic, team player

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to company field personnel
  • Daily / weekly scheduling of field personnel and construction operations
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients
  • Active role in assuring productive work occurs in a safe and quality manner
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of project plans and specifications
  • Manage job material logistics, placement and deliveries to ensure workflow in operating at optimum efficiency.
  • Communicate and collaborate with wide range of individuals, including field staff, management, suppliers / vendors and subcontractors
  • Monitor and manage employee attendance, ensuring the timely arrival and participation of all crew members
  • Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections
  • Review safe work plans / hazard assessments with crew prior to job commencement
