About this role: Corporate & Investment Banking (“CIB”) delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services. A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transactional banking; commercial real estate lending and servicing; investment banking; equity; and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients across the globe. The Energy Investment Banking team, within the Energy & Power industry coverage group in CIB Banking, is seeking an industry coverage and execution banker, at the Vice President level, to join and support the team. This will support Upstream and Energy Services sectors. This role will be based in Houston. In this role, you will: Execute capital markets and M&A transactions for our corporate clients Present complex ideas and analyses to internal and external parties Generate strategic content, including industry analysis and product-specific concepts Coordinate deliverables with coverage team and internal product partners Manage day-to-day project workflows Develop junior talent Required Qualifications 5 years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications Experience in energy sectors Company or asset sellside and buyside experience Acquisition financing experience Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Job Expectations Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
