Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and talented Marketing/Creative Specialist with a strong focus on marketing strategy, social media strategy, and graphic design. This role requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative spirit to contribute across various creative and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support business goals and enhance brand visibility.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activities.
- Performance Analysis and Optimization: Analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, identifying key performance indicators and areas of improvement.
- Assist in marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives.
Graphic Design and Creative Roles:
- Create and manage visually appealing designs for marketing materials, including digital and print assets such as brochures, banners, advertisements, and presentations.
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive brand identity across all visual outputs.
- Assist with the development of innovative concepts and graphics to support marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop, execute, and optimize social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement across multiple platforms.
- Create compelling content tailored to each platform, including graphics, videos, and captions.
- Monitor social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and impact.
- Stay updated on trends and emerging platforms to keep the brand relevant and competitive.
Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Lead the creative development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with the brand’s goals and audience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Event Planning and Management:
Coordinate and oversee events, such as community recycling drives and industry conferences, that showcase our brand’s sustainability impact. Ensure events are strategically aligned with business goals and reinforce our commitment to a sustainable future.
Content Creation and Management:
- Work closely with the content team to produce engaging materials that resonate with target audiences.
- Assist in crafting compelling scripts, taglines, and messaging for various marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the design and production of multimedia content, including light video editing and still imagery.
Presentation Management:
Design and manage presentations for both internal and external audiences, focusing on sustainability data, performance metrics, and impact stories that effectively communicate our progress and goals.
Brand and Identity Management:
- Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity, ensuring it aligns with the overall marketing and business strategy.
- Provide guidance on branding across departments to maintain consistency and professionalism.
Event Support:
- Design event-specific marketing materials, including signage, promotional items, and digital assets.
- Support event planning and coordination to ensure seamless execution and impactful presentations.
Video Editing and Still Imagery:
- Manage light video editing and still imagery tasks to support sustainability-related campaigns, creating visuals that underscore our environmental achievements and goals.
Administrative and Collaborative Support:
- Assist the VP of Marketing with daily tasks, last-minute projects, and team coordination.
- Foster collaboration between departments to align on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, social media strategy, or a related marketing role.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro or After Effects).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools and motion graphics is a plus.
Proficiency in digital marketing, campaign management, and content creation.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in project management and event planning.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft clear, impactful messaging.
- Knowledge of basic video editing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
