Production Packer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in an assembly line environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished products into boxes or containers according to specifications.
• Operate hand tools and power tools as needed for packaging tasks.
• Assemble packaging materials and ensure that all items are securely packed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Assist in the fabrication of packaging materials when necessary.
• Operate forklifts safely to move materials or finished goods within the warehouse.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a factory or warehouse setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
• Forklift certification is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
