Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. This role requires strong with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the production floor, ensuring adherence to safety standards and production schedules.
- Train and mentor production staff in the use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Monitor the assembly line processes to ensure efficiency and quality of output.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that arise.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance to upper management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other machinery.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and assembly line operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in manufacturing or engineering is a plus.
