Da/Pro Rubber is currently looking for a POST CURE INSPECTOR (Material Handler) to join our team at the Broken Arrow, OK location. This facility is located at 601 N Poplar Ave.
Shift available:
Monday - Friday 11pm to 7am
The Post Cure Inspector is responsible for finishing rubber products after the production process.
Starting rate of pay is $11.25 per hour. Wage increases available for strong work performance and solid attendance.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Washes and dries rubber parts in industrial cleaning equipment.
- Determines temperature and time of heating cycle as established on traveler.
- Adjusts dryer controls and observes the prescribed temperature
- Loads parts into dryer, removes parts after prescribed time and allows parts to cool in air.
- Inspect manufactured products for conformance to specifications
- Separate components with defects including but not limited to cracks, marks, holes, tears and contamination
- Notify supervisor of excessive defects on any particular component
- Document accepted/rejected counts on product paperwork
OTHER NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Speak to others to convey information effectively
- Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to accurately weigh, count and document inspection results
- Some experience entering data into a computer required
- Strong attention to detail
