Da/Pro Rubber is currently hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Lead for our North Tulsa facility located at 6712 N Canton Ave.
The starting pay for this position is to $16.00 per hour and is negotiable based on experience.
JOB SUMMARY
The Shipping & Receiving Assistant Lead is the primary back-up for the department, assisting the Lead in packaging and processing finished small, specialized rubber product for shipment to customers. Responsibilities may include the maintenance of detailed, computerized records of incoming and outgoing parts, workflow management, processing of required department paperwork and shipping documents, and handling of incoming raw materials. This position supports problem-solving and root cause analysis for the shipping & receiving department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare products for shipping according to Da/Pro and customer specifications, including packaging for transportation, weighing and measuring packages;
- Ensure that merchandise is in proper condition and that orders are filled properly before the items are sent to customers;
- Accurately maintain paper and computer records;
- Support and/or manage outgoing shipments according to customer’s requests and established company procedures;
- Ensure shipping documents are complete, accurate and processed appropriately at time of shipment;
- Receive incoming deliveries, log, and deliver via hand truck to nearby building/department, under the direction of the Shipping & Receiving Lead;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in shipping & receiving in a manufacturing environment. Experience should include domestic and international shipping with major carriers.
- Documented experience with mathematical calculations including weights and measures
- Experience with computers and various MS Windows and browser-based software
- Ability to manage large amounts of information in an often-changing environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasionally: sit, push/pull up to 50 lbs., reach above shoulder with both hands, lift/carry 10-50 lbs.
Frequently: stand, walk, reach outward with both hands, count and calculate, lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Constantly: handle/finger
Other: Vision - near/non-color, sense of touch
