What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Scheduler position at Dabri, Inc.?
Dabri is specialized in Program, Construction Management and Project Controls Services. We are looking for experienced individuals for Project Scheduler position. Note, the candidate is expected to client office or job site (No remote work).
There is no need for water experience, but we need a person skilled on what is expected to do.
Qualifications:
- 4 years college degree is required
- Experience in preparing quarterly reports
- Experience with Primavera P6
- 3 years of Primavera P6 scheduling experience in the United States
Duties
- Coordinate the preparation of project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies
- Perform contractor schedule reviews for contract conformance and quality assurance
- Evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule
- Perform time impact analysis of project schedule delays and potential claims
- Participate in change order negotiations
- Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses
- Identify schedule related problems which arise during project execution and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions
- Conduct construction/project site visits for progress reporting.
- Review contractor’s weekly and monthly schedule progress, prepare narrative of findings, submit and present to management for decision making
- Review and evaluate contractor recovery schedules.
- Perform cost analysis in support of design and construction phases of capital projects.
- Understand, interpret and apply contracts, policies and procedures within guidelines.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Analyze actual expenditures versus budget performance.
- Prepare cost loaded schedule to support comprehensive cash flow projections
