Salary $210,000 to $216,000 per year as a full-time employee, plus full company benefits, including 10 paid vacation days, 11 paid holidays, and 5 paid sick days.

Position Overview :
The successful candidate for this position will be assigned to the LAUSD Facilities Program
Position Functions :
1. Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and
constraints for construction projects of various types
2. Independently interpret and read detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural,
Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, etc.) and develop a clear understanding of work scope
3. Review Contractor’s Baseline schedule submissions and verify that all work scope is identified
properly and logically sequenced correctly; provide written detailed schedule review comments
4. Perform QA / QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with the contract; review critical
path, cost loading, resource loading of man-hours, schedule content, recovery schedules, use of logic
relationships and lags, constraints and milestones
5. Perform schedule Time Impact Analysis for any change orders that affect the construction schedule;
conduct schedule negotiations with the OAR and the contractor for any delay time settlements
6. Read drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope, and understand terms and conditions of
the contract to determine if any compensable or non-compensable time extensions have merit
7. Performs Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis
8. Walk construction sites as needed and check the contractor’s weekly / monthly schedule
progress; provide reports to the project OAR and upper management.
9. Effectively communicate with the Contractor regarding all schedule / progress related matters and
concerns in the weekly status meetings and all other schedule related meetings
10. Perform Project Schedule QA / QC reviews on a regular basis
11. Perform status updates for Project and Program Schedules / Master Schedules on a bi-monthly basis
12. Ensure proper use of Program-level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data
integrity
13. Serve as a liaison between project teams, department leadership and the Program & Project
Controls department
14. Prepare reports as needed and directed by Management
