Position Summary
The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT environment.
Job Duties :
- Assign and configure IT equipment for new hires, including computers, phones, and other necessary peripherals.
- Ensure new hire IT equipment is properly set up and ready for use on their first day.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new IT infrastructure projects.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the IT infrastructure.
- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures, obtain an inventory of IT equipment and manage the lifecycle of hardware assets.
