Job Summary
Review secondary market files and order the required documentation to process and underwrite the loan file. Ensure the loan application is complete. Assign the Regional Mortgage Specialist (RMS) to the loan file.

Essential Functions

  • Order documents and verifications to process the secondary market loan file.
  • Review the application to ensure the data is complete.
  • Assign the RMS and monitor the pipeline.

Other Functions

  • Aid co-workers with processing files and work with co-workers to resolve any file issues.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to customers (both internal and external), and all third-party affiliates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain educational and professional expertise through attendance at job related seminars, conferences, and on-line training.

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and six or more months related experience and/or training in secondary market real estate lending/banking; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and hard working. Must be able to handle multiple functions simultaneously and function in a high-pressure environment.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Take ownership of assigned duties.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working in a team environment with problem solving skills.
