Manage the appraisal order requests and appraisal delivery for residential real estate loans. Ensure that Appraiser Independence Requirements are met as required by various loan products and investors. Prepare internal evaluations to support value assigned to 1-4 family residential properties.
Primary Accountabilities
- Manage the email inbox for appraisal and evaluation orders.
- Submit appraisal requests to the applicable ordering software.
- Maintaining notes on the appraiser files, reviewing reports for appraiser debarment and ensuring appraiser licenses have not expired
- Prepare and review residential internal evaluation for residential real estate loans.
- Review appraisals to ensure their completeness and conformance to regulatory requirements and investor guidelines and approve appraisals for use on our real estate loan transactions.
- Be proficient in appraisal requirements and regulations for all investors and programs.
- Deliver appraisals and evaluations and ensure the appraisal delivery timelines are met.
- Have regular correspondence with appraisers and co-worker on appraisal or property issues, regulatory changes and questions on property and investor guidelines.
- Review sample appraisals to determine if new appraisers will be acceptable to add to Dacotah Bank's appraisal panel.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities relating to the real estate industry.
- Adhere to bank policy and procedures and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
