At least 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources, preferably within the cannabis industry or a related field. Experience sourcing candidates, managing the hiring process, and understanding the regulatory landscape of the cannabis industry is highly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE
A strong understanding of the cannabis industry, including the retail, production, and cultivation spaces. Familiarity with cannabis-specific job roles, compliance standards, and industry trends is essential. Proficiency with recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms for talent sourcing is also important.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage the recruitment process for positions in retail, production, and grow operations, from initial sourcing to offer acceptance.
- Develop creative strategies to attract top talent across multiple channels, including job boards, social media, industry events, and networking.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, create job descriptions, and define role requirements.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure a strong cultural and skills fit for each department.
- Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring all candidate data is up-to-date and organized.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and labor market shifts to better anticipate hiring needs and adjust recruitment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal cannabis regulations during the hiring process.
- Support the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company culture and operations.
