What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Relations Account Coordinator position at DADA Goldberg?
Reporting to an Account Executive or Account Manager, the Account Coordinator supports our media relations efforts on behalf of our international clients. Entry level responsibilities include account coordination for 7-10 accounts, in support of the account team; media pitching; active participation in client and team meetings; and, working at client events.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the account team by implementing outreach strategies to the press and influencers;
- Maintain schedules for press and client meetings;
- Prepare agendas and re-caps of client meetings;
- Create weekly, monthly, and final activity and media reports for clients;
- Update lists of media, influencers, industry and client contacts in Muck Rack and client trackers;
- Organize and maintain documents, images, captions, and press materials on Google drive;
- Organize gift mailings;
- Read and track daily coverage of clients and related news stories online, in print and on social media;
- Oversee press clipping by interns to ensure they follow the right format and are delivered on time; When interns are not available, scan and format press clippings for each client;
- Report press coverage links and clips (including social coverage) to clients daily/weekly;
- Create clip reports of all media coverage at end of the year or as required by individual clients;
- Research and update editorial calendars for key print publications;
- Scan HARO reports daily and bring relevant client opportunities to the team;
- Execute frequent outreach of press releases and other collateral material to the media and influencers;
- Conduct media outreach for events inviting media and influencers; Maintain RSVP lists; Be present at client events to check-in guests; Deliver accurate final headcount and attendee lists.
- Train and supervise interns to support the account teams’ administrative and account work.
Working Conditions: Work is performed from home with in-person clients, editors, or team meetings and events happening throughout the week. Candidates must live in the NYC or LA metro areas. The Account Coordinator will be expected, on occasion, to service client projects outside of regular working hours. Every member of the DADA Goldberg team must adopt and make daily use of office systems such as Google Suite, Slack, Canva.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.A. degree
- PR internship experience (must have
- Able to work independently and multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and fastidious about data entry and database management
- Technical skills: Mac-savvy, MS Office Suite, Keynote, Muck Rack, Canva
- Fluency in a foreign language is a plus
SALARY
$50,000 per year with potential for performance-based bonus, plus health/wellness benefits, and PTO/sick days.
