Summary:
Ensures Credit Union’s image of quality and professionalism through a commitment to excellence in fulfilling assigned responsibilities. Focuses on the needs of the dealership and manages the Credit Union activities directed toward developing and supporting the long-term relationships.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the initial relationship with the dealer and liaison between the Credit Union’s underwriting source and the F&I Manager at dealership.
- Develops business strategies in order to sell Credit Union indirect lending products and services to prospective dealerships.
- Promotes favorable image of the Credit Union in all business activities within the community.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within indirect lending field.
- Responsible for the development of new Dealership prospects and the retention/maintenance of existing dealer relationships through ongoing personal interaction.
- Regular visits to dealerships serviced by the Credit Union are required.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- One or more year’s previous experience in the financial service industry with at least one year in a sales related position with proven new business development.
- Must be PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access and Excel.
- Must possess strong interpersonal sale skills in a business to business selling environment.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Must provide own transportation and ability to visit local dealerships.
- 75% travel required for position.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
