Purpose of Role
The Physician Assistant Department is seeking a Physician Assistant instructor for the Cardiology module of PAS 515 The Fundamentals of Clinical Medicine I in the Spring semester of 2025.
About This Opportunity
Joining our Physician Assistant Faculty team, the Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for the following: Responsibilities include developing Cardiology learning objectives consistent with the expectations of clinical practice while preparing students for the PANCE exam, providing content instruction in a classroom setting for two hours per week, interacting with students in person and digitally (email and Blackboard), developing examinations, and submission of grades by end of semester. The position is in person.
Required Qualifications
The applicant must have a minimum of a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, and be a New York State licensed, board certified Physician Assistant. Clinical experience in Cardiology is preferred.
