Job Summary
Our Destin, Florida studio is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our design team.This role focuses on the creative and technical aspects of interior design—delivering high-quality concepts, drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is enthusiastic about crafting functional, beautiful spaces across various sectors including education, hospitality, mixed-use and more.
Key Responsibilities
· Listening to clients’ needs to determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed.
· Collaborate with project teams including architects and engineers to develop design concepts, space planning layouts, and detailed drawings.
· Assist in preparing presentations, mood boards, and material samples to communicate design ideas to clients.
· Select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), materials, and finishes.
· Produce technical drawings and documentation for design development and construction, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and reflected ceiling plans. As well as design graphics, renderings, and videos.
· Participating in site visits throughout completion of project
· Maintains current design trends, materials, finishes, and sustainable practices.
· Manage portions of the design process independently while maintaining communication with the project lead.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field.
· Minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
· Proficient in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
· Excellent attention to details and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.
· NCIDQ certification is preferred but not required.
