Dagen Personnel is recruiting an HR Manager for a company that designs, manufactures, and delivers fluid system products in North Houston.
This is a direct-hire in-office position.
Summary:
The Human Resources Manager will partner with all associates and departments to support the daily functions of the Human Resource department in all core HR disciplines, including but not limited to, employee relations, policies, workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, recordkeeping, total rewards, payroll, training, and development.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate pre-employment requirements including background checks and drug screening.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding logistics.
- Perform tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; recognition programs; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Administration of Learning Management System.
- Project management of HR technology implementations as needed.
- Development of efficient and effective HR processes and work instructions.
- Actively participate in all aspects of recruiting initiatives including administration of applicant tracking system, coordination of interviews, screening of candidates, administering assessments, sourcing of candidates, development of job descriptions.
- Participate in the development, review, implementation, and interpretation of policies and practices to maintain compliance and consistency in alignment with company culture.
- Process payroll as needed.
- Manage day-to-day benefits administration; coordinate benefit open enrollment and serve as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers as needed.
- Maintain confidential personnel records in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Coordination of internal company events as needed.
- Maintain HR SharePoint.
- Participate in required audits.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Maintain the HRIS and provide information and reports as requested, including assisting in preparing reports to management, for audits, and filings. Familiarity with Paycor or other HRIS systems is required.
- Assist with and prepare correspondence as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and 3 years’ Human Resources Generalist experience, OR 5 years’ work experience in a Human Resources role
- Must be willing and able to travel to all three offices as needed
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of payroll, compensation, benefits, policies and employment handbooks, safety/worker’s compensation, and talent management administration
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Paycor experience is a plus
- International experience is a plus
- SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
