Job Description Summary

Daher is looking for a Sr IT Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at our headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.This position is responsible for protecting the organization's information systems and data from security breaches and cyber threats. This role involves implementing security measures, monitoring network traffic, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry and company standards, with a specific emphasis on Microsoft Azure environments. As a Cybersecurity Specialist you will work with end-users to ensure the security of endpoints and mobile devices. You will be expected to participate in meetings, training sessions and security project planning as needed. Additionally, work with regional and international teams to help proactively stop cyber security threats and monitor systems to ensure security.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) :

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats.
• Implement and maintain security controls in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Security Center, Intune, Azure Entra Suite (Active Directory, PIM, Conditional Access, etc.), and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Assist in managing Office 365 product suite.
• Work with Information Security teams to help coordinate and improve security standing.
• Contribute to Security Services Support and Security Incident resolution.
• Respond to security incidents in Azure and help conduct investigations to mitigate risks.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Assist in developing training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the security of on-premises and cloud systems.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Assist in regulatory compliance audits and ensure adherence to relevant laws and standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining documentation of security incidents, actions taken, and outcomes.

Work Environment :

The work environment is well lit and air conditioned. Primary office is fast-paced and high-traffic. Regularly will be required to go into the hangar section, which is loud and protective eye-ware required.
