We are seeking a skilled, experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing organization! Dahl Consulting is currently partnering with a leading manufacturing & supply company. - Worksite Location: Alexandria, MN
- Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 per year
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance coverage, 401k with employer match, paid time off
What you will do as the Senior Accountant:
- Oversee and assist the Accounting Assistant positions, who conduct Accounts Payable &
- Accounts Receivable functions
- Pull reports and cover when HR Manager is unavailable
- Makes decisions in regard to incoming and outgoing cash flow
- Generate financial data used in day-to-day operations and in making business decisions
- Maintain the General Ledger and make journal entries as necessary and in accordance with
- GAAP
- Responsible for generating Financial Statements and checking supporting data for accuracy
- Report financial information to necessary institutions such as banks and the outside CPA firm
- Responsible for submitting Sales Tax payments/returns and applying for Sales Tax Refunds
What you will bring to the role as the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred)
- Leadership skills with ability to delegate, motivate, and inspire team members
- Experience in both Microsoft Excel and Word software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
