The Building Automations System (BAS) Controls Technician III is critical to the success in ensuring our customer receive top-notch service as it relates to the installation, programming, and service of commercial digital control systems while maintaining quality and profitability.

A Day In The Life

• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems
• Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers
• Maintain building automation systems by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming
• Create and/or implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects
• Commission controls installations and verify that control sequences meet scope, design, or specifications
• Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships

Required

• 5 years related experience with increasing responsibility or 7 related experience
• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
• Ability to lift to 50lbs with or without an accommodation
  
  

Preferred

• Niagara AX and/or Niagara 4 certification
• Strong computer skills, including computer networking fundamentals

The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $34.40 - $53.70 per hour in North Carolina. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
