What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workforce Planning Coordinator position at Daikin Comfort North America?
The Workforce Planning Coordinator manages the development and implementation of labor planning through coordination with other stakeholders. Plays a key role with the labor distribution through manufacturing production departments by understanding the headcount and effective placement to meet production needs while meeting quality, cost and safety measures and protocols.
- Assist with labor forecasting and planning
- Ensure all personnel requisitions are being filed and filled
- Assist with the placement of the workforce, understand gaps, and take actions to ensure operational stability (including labor pool)
- Advise managers and directors of developments and current labor needs as well as improvements to implement
- Provide guidance, coordination, and follow-up necessary to the administration of labor planning
- Coordinate distribution of temporary employee hiring pool for assigned areas
- Coordinate movement of planning of hourly employees with Area Managers
- Maintain records pertinent to labor flow to ensure operations are fully staffed
- Initial basic set-up / managing Kronos, Digi-Pass, people are in the correct departments
- Help coordinate training planning for area
- Continue to grow knowledge of best practices for workforce planning/labor distribution
- Perform other projects as assigned by leadership
