What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent - 1st shift position at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG LP?
Position Responsibilities may include;
- Control quality and cost of production through appropriate subordinates and/or departments.
- Coordinate the execution of manufacturing schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity.
- Administer plant policies and procedures fairly and consistently to accomplish both the Manufacturing process and meet company deadlines.
- Review and approve recommendations of subordinates in matters of personnel or rate changes.
- Review daily maintenance requirements.
- Oversee plant inventory levels and keep at a proper level for plant operations.
- Assist in resolution of production/employee issues with plant supervision.
- Assist the Plant Manager as required.
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety and security.
- Maintains effective schedule and cost control.
- Make solid decisions pertaining to product quality, department safety, and department efficiency.
- Develop subordinates and occasionally delegate assignments and provide them opportunities to experience difficult situations; provide frequent opportunities for dialogue and timely follow up and give feedback
- Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs

Experience:
- 5 years
Education:
- College Degree preferred or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
