What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager TMI position at Daikin?
As a Project Manager, for Daikin TMI you will be responsible for planning and overseeing Turnkey and Service Quoted projects from the initial ideation through to completion. You'll coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to company objectives. You'll be working closely with TMI Operations and Fulfillment Managers as to the work portfolio and financial status of jobs from when the job is booked throughout the implementation and closure of the work overseeing typically a $30MM book of TK business.
May include :
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
- Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
- Lead the initiation and planning of projects ensuring technical feasibility
- Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
- Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
- Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders
- Perform risk management and job safety analysis to reduce project risks
- Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation
- Lead project planning sessions
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Participate in tender process i.e.; design, submission and review
- Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
- Secure growth opportunities and initiating new projects
- Collaborate with project team members to identify and resolve issues
- Submit project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
- Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
- Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
- Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients
- Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables
- Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period
