The Daily Herald Media Group is looking for an independent, detail-minded, and proficient IT professional to be our daily point of contact for our staff. If you like to handle a variety of IT tasks, and desire a support role with a part-time, flexible, hybrid schedule, read on! We are looking for a friendly and responsive member to join our team.
Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, network connectivity, and applications.
· Set up and upgrade systems
· Provide technical support to end-users
· Provide backup assistance to our Network Administrator
· Monitor automated workflows
· Assist with licensing maintenance
· Assist with cyber security initiatives.
Requirements:
· Ability to work 25 hours per week, M – F days. Our hybrid schedule is approximately 75% in office to start. (schedule is flexible for the right candidate).
· Technical experience including proficiency in common operating systems, understanding of common software applications, knowledge of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Strong communication skills (professional, active listener, able to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users)
· Excellent customer service skills (patience, positive attitude, team player)
· Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
