SUMMARY: The Analyst is responsible for learning, supporting and maintaining daily operation transactions within the plant floor system (CAT2) and ERP(M3) systems. This position will monitor all transaction moving through the system and will troubleshoot and solve problems when necessary. Will work closely with finance to understand the impact of all processes impacting actual cost measures. Will perform duties of the opposite Analyst as their primary backup. Will support operations in education, data tracking and support continuous improvements with an emphasis towards sustaining solid standardization for systems measures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including The Following
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret in the English language. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from Managers and Supervisors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical formulas to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to make decisions on routine matters of policies. Ability to define and solve practical problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables in handling situations.
DECISION MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES: Must work primarily in an advisory capacity. Have informal contact daily with supervisor and department supervisors. Changes involving programs, policies, and procedures require higher approval. Good organizational and writing skills necessary to track and document production reports.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lift 40 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to move to all areas of production efficiently and effectively. Must be able to climb ladders or platforms. Must be able to wear all safety and production related equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment varies from an office setting, production floor and outside climate conditions, based on the situation. Noise level may vary within areas of the plant. Must be able to Tolerate cold (45 degrees or colder) and wet conditions. This employee will spend 20% percent of their working time on an active production floor and 80% in an office environment.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Note: The hours and days of work are established as needed by operations and at the discretion of management and, while generally as shown below, may be changed (increased or decreased) by management as required. Hours of Work: Generally, 8 or more hours per day, normally five days per week. Occasional weekend work may be required as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including The Following
- Gain the knowledge of how CAT2 and M3 interact with each other and be able to navigate both systems and have an exceptional understanding of all plant processes.
- Analyst backup for other facilities when any of the Analyst are not in the office.
- Provides support for initial escalation of CAT2/M3 related issues.
- Work with Analyst on opposite shift making sure all transactions are fixed and verified.
- Check and correct the items that appear in the reconcile every morning as well as providing root cause analysis on items to accounting.
- Perform the checks on production transactions to ensure accuracy and validity of the data.
- Correct errors that occur within the system in both CAT2 and M3 in a timely manner.
- Perform root cause analysis to avoid future errors with production transactions.
- Close Manufacturing Orders and validate costing.
- Check the manifest of customer orders and ensure they are ready to be shipped before they are given over to the COM team.
- Work with the Inventory Control Supervisor to identify opportunities of training the floor users to make sure they can perform the transactions within the system.
- Aid floor users, supervisors, and leads when a question is raised about the process and how to proceed.
- Plan, lead, assess impact, and actively participate in software and hardware testing.
- Perform data entry on daily and weekly KPI reports and ensure they are accurate.
- Aid production when time permits.
- Learn and understand the Daily’s manufacturing and supply chain business process.
- Maintain Product Structures with approval by Plant Controller.
- Responsible for KPI reporting and various plant metrics.
- Other duties as assigned.
