This position offers:
- Starting pay of $25.30/hr. up to top pay of $35.71/hr.*
- Quarterly gainsharing bonus potential
- additional shift differential for off-shifts

- Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
- Paints structures, performs masonry work, and makes repairs to tools and equipment
- Maintains and installs electrical systems and fixtures
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Measures, cuts, bonds, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit
- Uses hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ensures tools and equipment are maintained and repaired
- May assist higher level maintenance personnel
- Identify worn parts and replace or repair parts
- Conduct test run of repaired equipment
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
- Properly identify component parts by learning identification numbers
- Adhere to established work rotation plan
- Complete training matrix for each rotation position
- Ability to read and understand Work Station Instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput
- Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy
- Ability to operate hand tools and small power tools in a safe and nondestructive manner.

- Mechanical Aptitude
- Electrical knowledge
- Ability to perform skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and physical structures
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
- Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must maintain a clean work area.
- Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
- Ability to work in a repetitive motion environment
- Willingness to cross-train throughout the area
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
- Ability to work overtime when necessary
- Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating
- Perform other duties as assigned
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
- Previous mechanical experience
- High School Diploma / GED preferred and further college education a plus
