About Our Team
The Cheese Handling Specialist contributes to the success of our dairy production team. Key duties involve assisting the cheese maker, maintaining equipment, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and achieving high-quality results.
Main Tasks:
- Collaborate with the cheese maker to ensure seamless operations
- Use specialized equipment to transfer cheese to the press
- Operate in different settings such as cutting, wrapping, boxing, weighing, and palletizing finished cheese
- Ensure timely movement of cheese to the cooler using a forklift
- Sort loads efficiently
- Regularly inspect scales, metal detectors, and forklifts to guarantee peak performance
