  • JOB SUMMARY
  • Meadow Gold Dairy has an immediate job opening for a Sr. Quality Assurance Technician. This position will test and inspect incoming raw materials and finished products. Responsibilities also include auditing production departments and processes for compliance with food safety and quality assurance requirements.

    • THIS POSITION EARNS between $25-$27 / hr
    • SCHEDULE : Wednesday-Saturday 8pm-6am

    • JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Complete batch record review of various products and data entry into management software system
    • Disposition products (assign / change status) in management software systems as assigned
    • Review, organize, and file production records
    • Perform and / or assist with root cause analysis
    • Maintain company and customer required spreadsheets, records, and reports and communicate with customers as needed
    • Prepare and organize records as requested for internal and external audits
    • Obtain and / or issue certificates of analysis as needed
    • Support and assist in the writing, reviewing, updating, and training of all documentation elements of the Quality Management System and related software
    • Educate and train employees on food safety and quality topics per corporate guidelines
    • May complete quality walkthroughs of the facility to ensure necessary corrective actions are completed; may participate in regulatory and customer inspections
    • Adhere to all DFA Quality and Safety policies and procedures and report any nonconformities
    • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

    • REQUIREMENTS :
    • High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred (science)
    • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
    • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
    • Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be able to be able to work in a refrigerated / freezer environment
    • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
