Dairy One Cooperative is based in Ithaca, NY. We serve approximately 2500 dairy farm members throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. Our dedicated staff of over 250 employees stand ready to assist our members and customers each day.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience related to data and quality management.
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Computer literate in Microsoft applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities:
The Data, Quality, and Support Specialist is housed in the Forage/Soil Department and is responsible for providing data and quality management to the department's programs with additional administrative duties. The position supports:
- The data management process to include data collection, entry, monitoring, and reconciliation.
- The development of systems to monitor data outcomes and quality measures.
- The evaluation of data and documentation to ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
- The customer engagement process by functioning as a customer coordinator.
- The maintenance of the databases and internal data systems to include the customer list.
- The verification of data for completeness and accuracy.
- The implementation and maintenance of the scheduling process, including due dates, to facilitate timely and accurate entry and review of data.
- The data reconciliation progress.
- The tracking, reporting, and analysis of monthly performance are used to drive operational execution (training, scheduling, staffing, etc.).
- The compilation of data and summarization of process and quality findings.
- The management of customer emails and telephone calls.
- The documentation of new processes and revision of existing processes.
Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed in an office. However, work can also be performed in a laboratory where there is exposure to chemicals and occasional exposure to dust and noise. Protective safety equipment will be required if exposed to chemicals, dust, or noise.
Mental and Visual Demands
Close mental and visual attention are required for accurate execution of sample and order processing rapidly.
Physical Activities and Requirements
Constantly uses hands, arms, and wrists to key in sample or supply information and perform physical inventory counts, which is a repetitive activity. Regularly sits, stands, walks, and reaches with arms and/or hands. Occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, bends, and/or climbs. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
