Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while managing transactions accurately. Duties
- Operate cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS, to process customer transactions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with food preparation and bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean and organized café environment.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
- Maintain a clean workspace, including the cash register area, to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or POS systems is essential.
- Experience in food preparation or working in a café environment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are necessary for success in this role.

Pay: $12.50 - $13.35 per hour
