Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Crewmember to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to handle transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for our customers, whether in a café or retail setting. Your responsibilities will include managing cash registers, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their purchases.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items or products to answer customer inquiries effectively.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in retail math.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food service operations.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the café or retail area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Manage time effectively to meet customer needs while maintaining operational efficiency.

Experience

• Prior experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math skills.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage for those working in food service environments.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A background in culinary arts or food service is beneficial but not mandatory.
