Maintenance Technician Dairy State Cheese is a well-known cheese and whey manufacturing company located in Rudolph, WI. We are looking for a full time Maintenance Technician who is a team player, has an increased mechanical aptitude, and is detailed in their work.
· Hourly wage is DOE and competitive.
· On call and off hours is required as needed.
· JOB Responsibilities:
o Maintain all operational equipment and facility infrastructure and collaborate with production and quality departments in the scheduling of down time and PM repairs.
o Must be able to work independently and with little supervision.
·JOB Requirements:
o Minimum 2 years industrial mechanic experience.
o Technically sound and hands-on in troubleshooting: Electrical / Pneumatic / Hydraulic and Multi- Processing type equipment.
o Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, cooling systems, boilers and air compressors.
o Basic plumbing and building maintenance experience.
o Experience with PM's (Preventative Maintenance Programs).
o Knowledge of PLC's preferred.
o Knowledge of electrical standards and applications.
o Strong experience in steel fabrication and welding preferred.
o Ability to read basic blueprints; electrical; hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
o Strong written, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
o Detailed and results oriented.
o Knowledge and application of OSHA regulations.
o Act as a liaison with vendors when necessary.
o Ability to work flexible and/or extended/Saturday and Sunday hours depending on demands.
·Physical Demands:
o Ability to climb and move around machinery
o Ability to kneel, stand or bend and be able to lift 60 pounds
o Ability to work at heights
