Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves performing various landscaping tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces. The Landscape Technician will work closely with team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform mowing, edging, and trimming of grass and shrubs to maintain neat and attractive landscapes.
- Assist in the design and construction of new landscapes.
- Install trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, ornamental grasses, sod and other landscape elements.
- Perform hardscaping tasks such as installing pavers, retaining walls and outdoor structures.
- Operate excavation and grading equipment for site preparation.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct groundskeeping duties including debris removal, mulching, and maintaining clean work areas.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and landscaping equipment safely.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and operating machinery effectively.
- Ability to dig, plant, and maintain various types of plants and trees with attention to detail.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
