What We're Looking For:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child/Youth/Family Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to work directly with children and their families, providing counseling, support, and guidance to help them overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Work with children and their families on developing positive social and coping skills, and address parenting issues when appropriate
- Assess clients' needs and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Advocate for clients and connect them with community resources
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Qualifications:
- MA/MS in Counseling or related Human Services field, or BA/BS in Human Services field with two years experience
- Experience working with children and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
