What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Estimator & Procurement position at Dakota Fence?

We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Shift and Time: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Summary:
- Monitor bidding opportunities and prepare estimates
- Coordinate project submittals, documentation, and closeout
- Purchase and track materials for projects and inventory
- Work with vendors to solicit bids and obtain required certifications
- Support drafting, engineering, and fabrication processes
- Oversee shipments and ensure timely project delivery
- Assist with inventory and process improvements
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience is required.
- Estimating and purchasing steel fabrication projects is highly recommended.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting, construction estimating, construction management, project management, industrial technology, or engineering.
- AISC program experience is a plus.
