Job Summary:

The Human Resource Manager, proficient in both English and Spanish, is responsible for overseeing the overall human resource function within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the effective management of human capital. The HR Manager serves as a strategic partner to the leadership team, fostering a positive work culture and managing employee relations, with a focus on facilitating communication and understanding across English and Spanish-speaking employees. Additionally, this role includes interpretation duties to bridge language gaps and facilitate effective communication in various HR-related scenarios. The HR Manager will also manage and administer a comprehensive benefits package to support employee well-being and satisfaction, with a specific emphasis on meeting the unique needs of the Hispanic-speaking workforce. Moreover, the HR Manager will play a key role in organizing and coordinating company events to promote employee engagement and a sense of community.

Job Duties:

· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals.

· Collaborate with senior management to understand business objectives and translate them into HR initiatives, ensuring effective communication in both English and Spanish.

· Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from job posting to onboarding, providing interpretation support during interviews and hiring processes as needed.

· Conduct job analyses, create job descriptions, and coordinate interviews in both languages.

· Address employee concerns and investigations, ensuring a positive work environment and facilitating communication between English and Spanish-speaking employees.

· Mediate and resolve conflicts, promoting a collaborative and inclusive workplace

· Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans, providing interpretation during performance discussions as required.

· Provide guidance and support to managers in addressing performance issues with bilingual considerations.

· Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance, with interpretation assistance for employees navigating these programs.

· Manage the comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks, with a special focus on meeting the needs of the Hispanic-speaking workforce. Communicate benefits information in a clear and accessible manner, providing interpretation for employees as needed.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create memorable experiences that contribute to a positive company culture.

· Stay informed about employment laws and regulations, ensuring HR policies and practices are compliant and effectively communicated in both languages.

· Prepare and maintain employee handbooks and HR policy documentation with bilingual considerations.

· Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention, ensuring communication strategies cater to both English and Spanish-speaking employees.

· Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback, providing interpretation support during feedback sessions.

· Track and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs, preparing reports for management in both English and Spanish.

· Provide interpretation services when presenting HR metrics and reports to diverse audiences.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.

- Proven experience in HR management, with a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and practices.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Spanish, with a specific focus on meeting the linguistic and cultural needs of the Hispanic-speaking workforce.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.

- Must work at the Milbank location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
