Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a BD C Top 5 Architectural Engineering Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with extensive experience in the data center industry. They will play a key role in driving business development, leading projects, and guiding our engineering teams to success.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert in mechanical engineering within the data center industry.
Lead and drive the development of innovative mechanical engineering solutions for data center infrastructure.
Collaborate with business development teams to identify and pursue opportunities with data center owners.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, and integrate new methodologies into our engineering practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with proven expertise in the data center sector.

Proven track record of leading and delivering successful engineering projects.

Strong business acumen and experience in driving business development initiatives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Day-to-day

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive mechanical engineering solutions.

Engage with data center owners to understand their needs and develop tailored engineering proposals.

Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Stay updated on industry developments and actively participate in thought leadership activities, such as industry conferences and publications.
