Manufacturing Operations Manager

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies
• Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment that includes both standing/walking on the production floor and sitting at a desk for administrative tasks. Ability to lift to 25lbs as needed.
• Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met and quality standards are upheld
• Responsible for the recruitment, training, and performance management of front-line staff in all production departments.
• Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of each department
• Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
• Collaborate with other managers and departments to coordinate workflow and ensure production, quality, and safety goals are met.
• Assign personnel to projects based on workload and capabilities
• Regularly inspect and evaluate products and processes for quality control, ensuring adherence to standards and identifying areas for improvement.
• Work with the safety department to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health to

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
