Job Duties
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders to identify HR priorities that drive business success.
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support operational efficiency, productivity, safety, and quality in manufacturing and supply chain environments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting HR initiatives that align with business needs.
- Work closely with other HR functional areas (compensation, benefits, learning & development, etc.) to ensure holistic HR support for manufacturing and supply chain functions.
- Partner with leadership teams to develop and execute workforce planning strategies, ensuring that the business has the right talent in place to meet operational and supply chain objectives.
- Drive initiatives to develop leadership capabilities and ensure continuous skill development at all levels within manufacturing and supply chain functions.
- Implement NCS employee engagement strategies to improve retention, morale, and overall performance across the organization.
- Oversee performance management processes for their business responsibility, coaching leaders to provide constructive feedback and support employee growth.
- Support initiatives that reinforce a culture of high performance, accountability, and safety within the manufacturing and supply chain environments.
- Use data and metrics to monitor HR effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend improvements to achieve operational and business goals.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies, safety standards, and worker compensation within the manufacturing and supply chain functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of leadership experience required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role focused on manufacturing operations, supply chain, or operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices in a manufacturing or industrial setting, including knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and workforce development strategies.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse functions and levels within the organization.
- Must be willing to travel to NCS sites as needed up to 25% of the time
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in driving change management initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Ability to think strategically while also executing tactically and delivering results.
- Data-driven and results-oriented, with a strong ability to use HR metrics and analytics to drive decisions.
