Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Distributor SBU Regional Sales Manager – MidSouth to join our TEAM! As the Distributor SBU Regional Sales Manager – Mid-South, we need someone who is ready to provide a support for sales, margin and program development for all Independent Distributors assigned.
Coordinate all sales and promotional activities as well as travels “extensively” in the field training and assisting both the sales and architectural reps in their respective roles. In addition to this responsibility, this role will be expected to lead commercial architectural specification efforts as well as hold monthly project/job tracking meetings in conjunction with the sales management teams with each Distributor. Increase to product sales within assigned region in order to achieve company objectives will be expected. Develop and retain an effective working relationship with regional distributors to maximize product sales. Work closely with distributors General Managers to achieve goals and maximize market penetration and margin potential.
Achieve revenue, budget, and other business objectives for each fiscal year.
Develop business relationships with key distributors within their region.
Clearly define goals and objectives to measure performance and communicate these objectives to distributors on a regular basis.
Communicate and work closely with distributors to maximize market penetration and margin potential.
Develop and implement strategic plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
Advise distributors regarding business strategies, sales and advertising techniques.
Meets with key distributor personnel to negotiate and close deals.
Analyses and controls expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements.
Prepares sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed product sales expansion.
Represent the company at trade meetings to promote company and product.
Performs Other Related Duties As Required.
Coordinate and communicate LPT meetings "monthly" with Distributor AR Teams and the assigned Commercial Manager.
5 or more years of related sales management experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Extensive working knowledge of residential/dealer/distributor sales
Self-Starter, strong interpersonal skills, ability to exercise independent judgment, ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationship. Strong business acumen. Ability to understand and develop business plans and manage a budget.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
