What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distributor Regional Sales Manager Mid South position at Daltile?
Coordinate all sales and promotional activities as well as travels “extensively” in the field training and assisting both the sales and architectural reps in their respective roles. In addition to this responsibility, this role will be expected to lead commercial architectural specification efforts as well as hold monthly project/job tracking meetings in conjunction with the sales management teams with each Distributor. Increase to product sales within assigned region in order to achieve company objectives will be expected. Develop and retain an effective working relationship with regional distributors to maximize product sales. Work closely with distributors General Managers to achieve goals and maximize market penetration and margin potential.
Achieve revenue, budget, and other business objectives for each fiscal year.
5 or more years of related sales management experience.
Self-Starter, strong interpersonal skills, ability to exercise independent judgment, ability to develop and maintain cooperative relationship. Strong business acumen. Ability to understand and develop business plans and manage a budget.
