The primary purpose of this career opportunity is to provide turf management services for grounds management. This position serves as a member of a turf crew providing chemical application to residential and commercial properties assigned, as well as providing clients with advice and assistance with their lawn care.

Responsibilities/Duties
Apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns/landscapes according to label instructions, safety procedures, and schedule.
Drive a company vehicle to clients’ locations, make necessary applications, and provide client with documentation of service at job location.
Interact with clients on site, via email, and/or phone as needed.
Promptly respond (within 24-48 hours) to client questions or requests for additional services.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications & Educational Requirements
1-2 years related industry experience
NC Pesticide License (strongly preferred) (Paid training will be provided to the right candidate)
Turfgrass degree or certificate preferred, but not required. (Paid training will be provided to the right candidate)
Knowledge of spraying/spreading equipment
Ability to read and understand a pesticide label
Ability to calculate rates and amounts of products needed to complete work.
Minimum 1 year of experience making liquid and granular application to turfgrass/ornamental landscapes

Knowledge of computer applications.
Must be able to perform physical labor for prolonged periods of time in a wide range of climatic conditions including extremes of heat and cold.
Must be able to lift and carry objects 50 to 90 pounds.
Must have a current driver’s license and clean driving record.
