Job Title: Die Cutting – Material Handler

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe working environment by following all plant safety rules.
Understand the basic functions of operating the Die Cutter.
Start and stop the machine as required.
Remove all finished pieces from the material after being processed in the Die Cutter.
Neatly stack pieces and assemble a full pallet of the finished product.
Operate the pallet wrapper after the finished pallet is assembled.
Document all processed material and finished pallets to provide accurate reports on production and inventory.
Correctly log finished parts and raw materials into FileMaker to maintain accurate inventory.
Identify differences between panel sizes and label all finished pallets correctly.
Maintain a steady pace throughout the entire shift to meet production quotas.
Be trained to operate a baler.
Maintain a clean work area.
Adhere to break policies.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Forklift Experience
Basic understanding of machine operation and safety protocols.
Ability to identify and differentiate between various panel sizes.
Proficiency in logging information into inventory systems such as FileMaker.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED, preferred

Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred.
Previous forklift experience
Experience operating machinery such as Die Cutters and pallet wrappers is a plus.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.

Skills:
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in processing and labeling.
Effective time management to maintain steady production pace and meet quotas.
Basic computer skills for logging information into inventory systems.
Mechanical aptitude to understand and operate machinery.
Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot minor issues with the Die Cutter and related equipment.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and work at a steady pace for the duration of the shift.
Capability to lift, stack, and move materials up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs] regularly.
Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling materials.
Ability to maintain a safe working posture while performing repetitive tasks.
